This website cost calculator gives you a real price range in shillings in under 60 seconds.
What actually changes the price
- How much has to be built Ten pages using one layout is cheaper than five pages that are each a different idea. Page count is a weak signal. New designs and new features are the real cost.
- Payments and connections M-Pesa at checkout. A card gateway. A booking system. Linking to something you already run. Each one is a build and a round of testing.
- How many products Twenty products is an afternoon. Four hundred products with sizes, photos and descriptions is a project on its own. This is usually the biggest line on a shop quote.
- Who writes the words If you hand us finished text, it is faster. If we research and write it, that is real work. It is also usually the difference between a site that gets found and one that does not.
- How soon you need it Rushing pushes other work aside, so it costs more. Planning ahead is the only free discount there is.
What other people in Kenya charge
Published Kenyan price guides in 2026 put a simple one page site at roughly KSh 10,000 to 40,000. A small business site at roughly KSh 25,000 to 100,000. An online shop anywhere from KSh 40,000 to KSh 300,000 and up. A custom corporate build from KSh 100,000 to well past KSh 500,000.
Those ranges are enormous. That is the honest picture. The same three words can describe wildly different amounts of work.
We are not the cheapest and we do not try to be. A KSh 20,000 website is a real thing you can buy. For some businesses it is the right call. What you are not buying at that price is search visibility, page speed, or anyone thinking about where your customers come from. If you want those, the number is higher, and this calculator shows you why.
Common questions
Is hosting included?
No. Those costs are yours and we want them in your name. A .co.ke domain is about KSh 1,000 to 2,000 a year. Good hosting is about KSh 6,000 to 20,000 a year. We set both up for you and hand you the logins.
Is this a quote?
No. It is an estimate. A quote comes after we have seen your current site and your content. We give a range because that is honest at this stage.
Why are shops so much more?
Because a shop is a system, not a set of pages. Payments, delivery rules, stock, order emails, refunds, and every way each of those can go wrong. Loading the products alone often takes longer than the design.
Can I pay in parts?
Yes. 30 percent to start, 40 percent when the site is built, 30 percent at handover.
